WHAT: Mentorship for aspirants and young women leaders from Kisauni and
Changamwe Constituencies

WHERE: YWCA Holiday and Conference Centre, Likoni

Gender and Governance Programme partners YWCA will hold a workshop with mentors who have been working in Kisauni and Changamwe constituencies to support young female political aspirants. Other participants will include youth who are being trained to be a positive force in building civic engagement in the community, as well as sensitizers who have been working to encourage Kenyans to consider supporting women aspirants.

Between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, the participants will share their experiences working in their communities so far during this election year. This event is hosted by the YWCA, a GGP partner agency. Representatives of UNIFEM and YWCA will be present for the workshop.
