WHAT:Closing ceremony for PeaceNet Kenya National Planning Session

WHERE: Lenana Conference Center - (On Jacaranda Road off Gitanga Road)

Permanent Secretary in charge of Civil Service Reforms Ms. Joyce Nyamweya  to address PeaceNet  Regional Staff

Following the post elections skirmishes that has left over 1,000 people dead and over 350,000 displaced in most parts of the country, PeaceNet Kenya ,  an organization that specializes in post conflict matters  which has been working with the Internally Displaced People throughout the country  will behaving a de-briefing with all its regional staff from all over the country.

The National Planning Session based in conflict zones in the country has been taking place at the Lenana Conference Centre and  the Permanent Secretary in charge of Civil Service Reforms Ms. Joyce Nyamweya who is also the Chairperson PS’s sub committee on peace building, conflict management and Nation building  is expected to close the session.

What's New

Kenya Audio Visual Archives Conference

The African Woman and Child Feature Service, the Kenya Archival Study Group and the Ford Foundation office in Nairobi, Kenya will hold the Preservation, Conservation and Restoration of Audio Visual Media Conference. 

The conference will be held at the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi, from December 3rd – 5th 2008.
