Thursday 21 February 2008

What:Women and Post-Election Nation Building Meeting

When: Thursday 21 February 2008

Time:  01:00 p.m.

Where: Grand Regency Hotel

You are invited to a press conference by women leaders who are part of the Peace and Nation Building process to express our concern over the current situation in our country and more importantly to call on all our country men and women to seek lasting solutions that will hold our country together.

In this regard, the women will be dressed in white and for those who do not have a white dress will wear some piece of white clothing (scarf, etc).

This symbolises the women’s search for peace and their concern for the women and children of Kenya who have been most affected by the post election violence.

It embodies a strong message to political leaders to walk their talk for peace.  The women are watching them.
