Women organizations in Kenya invite your media house to cover the Women Conference on the Harmonized Draft Constitution on Monday, 14th of December 2009 at the Kenya College of Communication &Technology, Mbagathi from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
As a State Party, Kenya is obligated to implement international human rights instruments nationally in respecting, promoting and fulfilling the human rights of women. The Harmonized Draft Constitution of Kenya is in the public and the ball is in the court of women to make necessary contributions to this draft before the deadline on the 17th of December 2009.
The conference will have a national women representation. Among the women organizations include FIDA-Kenya, COVAW, CREAW, NCWK, MYWK, KEWOPA,CAUCUS for women leadership and AWC.
