The Minister for Gender, Hon Dr. Naomi Shaban, E.G.H, and M.P for Gender, Children and Social Development will tomorrow, Wednesday 13th October 2010 officially grace the adaption of the AU- Experts meeting at Kenyatta Conference Centre starting 5.30pm during the African Women’s Decade 2010-2020.
The African Women’s Decade was spearheaded by the African Union's Women and Gender Development Directorate. The African Women's Decade was adopted in October 2009 by the heads of State, giving member countries until 2020 to achieve 50-50 representation of women and men in politics and decision-making positions.
